We are excited to announce a training event for October 13^th on Motor Vehicle Safety. This session will look at some common risks that can lead to serious motor vehicle incidents and practical ways to prevent them. Even if transportation isn’t your industry, chances are you have employees driving for work. Because it may not be their primary job, the risks of driving can be easier to overlook or fall lower on the safety priority list.  Join us to learn simple ways to protect all the drivers in your life.

With the season change, WMASSP is starting to look ahead to 2027 and is getting ready for another year of community, learning, and a little fun. Our chapter kickoff is coming up October 1 at Founders Brewing Co.

This event is a great way to catch up with familiar faces, meet new people, and learn more about how West Michigan ASSP is here to help and learn from you.

It’s a good chance to swap ideas, share a few wild safety stories with other likeminded folks and, of course, have a drink!

This tournament directly supports future leaders in workplace safety by helping students in the Occupational Safety & Health program at GVSU achieve their educational goals.

The WMASSP spent a day of golf, camaraderie, and giving back at our annual Golf Outing Fundraiser, with proceeds of $12,000 supporting the Grand Valley State University Occupational Safety & Health Scholarship Fund.
