The West Michigan Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) has over 245+ members on its mailing list from all over West Michigan. Our membership is made up of a wide range of people in the field of safety. This includes people who are new to the safety profession such as students, entry-level, senior, mid-level EHS management and senior-level EHS managers. These professionals cover a vast array of industries such as manufacturing, construction, medical, transportation (OTR, air and water) non-profits, municipalities, insurance carriers and agencies, governmental agencies, etc. We know that the field is too big for any one person to know everything – and recognize the value of networking – to learn from others about the field of interest, professional growth, and career advancement opportunities.
