2025 Michigan Safety Conference

The Michigan Safety Conference  is a volunteer organization dedicated to promoting the improvement of workplace safety and health practices in the State of Michigan. The Michigan Safety Conference exists to provide education, and to create a community of experts, to help eliminate workplace injuries and fatalities.

The West Michigan American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) presents in-depth technical session on Tier II reporting and air emissions requirements. This essential presentation will cover:

• Tier II Reporting Overview: A comprehensive guide to EPA’s SARA 312 program, highlighting the federal requirements for material storage reporting. Learn about Michigan-specific requirements, including the state’s reporting tools, thresholds, due date (March 1), and Extremely Hazardous Substances (EHS) list.

• Multi-State Considerations: Gain insights into Tier II reporting requirements in other states, ideal for professionals with responsibilities extending beyond Michigan.
