Overview: This session delivers practical, real-world strategies to help safety professionals design safer, more resilient systems that support both organizational goals and worker well-being. Many organizations face costly setbacks due to inconsistent injury reporting, delayed treatment, and disjointed return-to-work processes. The program covers how to proactively overcome these challenges by adopting a systems-based approach that bridges silos and fosters collaboration. Through personal stories and real-world examples, it demonstrates how to streamline reporting, implement early clinical intervention, conduct ergonomic and root cause assessments, coordinate care with healthcare providers, and address mental health and comorbidities. The session also explores emerging technologies to enhance prevention and return-to-work outcomes, alongside key legal considerations to ensure compliance. These proactive strategies focus on injury prevention by building integrated, resilient safety systems. This is an impactful, information-packed session designed to deliver practical, actionable strategies.
