The Workplace Safety Representative plays a vital role in ensuring Michigan workplaces remain safe and healthy. In this role, you will:
✔ Review, investigate, and analyze workplace operations, environments, and equipment.
✔ Conduct on-site evaluations to identify workplace safety and health hazards.
✔ Ensure compliance with the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Act (MIOSH Act) and other state and federal safety regulations.
✔ Apply industry standards, policies, and best practices to minimize potential workplace safety and health risks.
Work Location: This is a field position based out of a home office. For travel purposes, the official work stations must be located in Kent, Barry, or Allegan Counties.
