About the Role:

As the Industrial Hygiene Manager, you’ll lead and grow our Industrial Hygiene services, playing a critical role in business strategy, client engagement, and departmental development. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the direction of the department, manage high-impact projects, and build a team to drive excellence in workplace safety.

What You’ll Do:
● Lead & Develop the Industrial Hygiene Discipline – Build a strategic roadmap for growth and innovation in Industrial Hygiene services.
● Expand Business Opportunities – Work closely with current Management to identify new clients, partnerships, and service offerings.
● Manage & Mentor a Growing Team – Oversee and develop 1 -2 Industrial Hygiene team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
● Client-Focused Solutions – Work directly with clients, construction managers, and business leaders to ensure workplaces are safe, compliant, and risk -free.
● Project Leadership & Execution – Manage projects from start to finish, including field
assessments, exposure monitoring, ventilation testing, and safety program development.
● Regulatory & Compliance Expertise – Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other workplace health & safety standards.

● Continuous Improvement – Identify industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep BDN at the forefront of Industrial Hygiene practices.

● Technical Expertise – Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data analysis, and Industrial
Hygiene equipment calibration.

● Flexibility & Fieldwork Readiness – Willingness to work in varied environments, including
construction site s, industrial facilities, and outdoor settings.

Education & Experience:

● Degree in Industria l Hygiene, Environmental Health & Safety, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
● Certified Industria l Hygienist (CIH) preferred with 7-10 + years of experience (other
certifications considered).
● Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA regulations, and risk management assessments.
● Experience in IH assessments, indoor air quality, ventilation studies, noise assessments,
radiation safety, and exposure control.

Work Environment:
● Varied Work Settings – Indoor & outdoor project sites, including construction zones and
renovation sites.
● Frequent Site Visits – Tra vel required to multiple project locations and offices.
● Potential Exposure to Workplace Hazards – Requires proper PPE & safety protocols when
conducting field assessments.
