Bio’s

Chris Brennan

A believer in spreading the good news, Chris is a believer in providing a safe work environment so people can live a fulfilling life. How? Through the empowering of others through creating a positive culture. Chris is the Safety Manager for Premiere Property Services, LLC located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The firm provides a full range of renovation services for commercial and residential projects. He has been with his current company for over 10 years in which he also served as their Marketing and Invoicing Manager. He is a member of the Property Management Association of West Michigan, and he serves as their Membership Committee Chair as well as their ambassador for the State and National levels. With his CAS designation, Chris is a community manager expert in preventative maintenance, safety programs & documentation, analyzing property financial operations and underperformance and many other topics.

Chris earned his B.S. in Education from Central Michigan University. He is using his education and experience teaching around the world to create positive learning experiences. No stranger to the Michigan Safety Conference, he has spoken several times in the past. Chris and his wife and two children make their home in Grand Rapids.

Deputy Jose Douglas, Kent County Sheriff’s Office
“My law enforcement career began in 2004 with the Detroit Police Department. It then continued with the Buena Vista Twp. Police Department in 2006. I later joined the Kent County Sheriff’s Office in 2016. During my time as a law enforcement officer, I have been assigned to several special units. I am currently assigned to the Hostage Negotiator Team and the Community Services Unit as the Alpine Twp. Community Policing Deputy. Over the years, I have attended countless hours of safety training and I am certified to teach classes in hunter safety, personal safety, and crime prevention. I also conduct CPTED security assessments for properties.”

Ashley Faber, Executive Director, Property Management Association of West Michigan

PMAWM welcomed Ashley Faber as the Executive Director in March 2020. Ashley is a proud graduate of Aquinas College where she studied Business Administration and Communication. Prior to working with the PMAWM, Ashley worked in the Healthcare Industry for over 12 years managing multiple offices. Ashley resides in West Michigan with her husband and two children. When Ashley isn’t working, you can find her camping and boating with her family.

Braeden Wilson, CEO, Premiere Property Services

Braeden serves as the CEO of Premiere Property Services, a leading provider of turn services, projects, and renovations to multifamily and manufactured housing communities. He previously managed the acquisitions team for CONTI Capital, a multifamily owner-operator based in Dallas, Texas. He has further worked in a variety of roles and industries, ranging from small business operations to public equity investing. Braeden received his BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University and his MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He is a proud husband and father to three daughters.

Chris Scholten, Safety & Risk Management Advisor, BHS Insurance

Chris Scholten joined the BHS Insurance team in 2019 and serves as a Senior Risk Management Consultant. His responsibilities include providing safety and loss control services to our clients as well as assisting the claims department. He graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Safety and Health. His environmental health and safety experience includes warehouse distribution, industrial manufacturing and poultry production. Other professional experience includes being a MDEQ Certified Stormwater Operator and a certified Laser Safety Officer (LSO). Chris currently is the President of the West Michigan-American Society of Safety Professionals.
